What is a fully hosted Solution?

A fully hosted solution, is an uncomplicated software distribution model, that includes a number of different applications (including websites), introduced by a service provider, and delivered to customers via the world wide web. In a fully hosted solution, the introduced applications are managed by the service provider, on platforms such as our Wohola Unified Enterprise Platform. The customer benefits from features normally not available with websites that are within the budgets of SME businesses, as well as always having the most up-to-date content management system, that is available from the service provider. The customer is licensed to operate their website on the fully hosted platform, for as long as their annual platform maintenance and upgrade fee (currently $300.00 GST Inc), continues to be paid. Our customers do not pay a normal hosting fee, for websites delivered via our fully hosted solution.

What platform will you use to build my websites?

We use Wohola, a hosted application, to build your website. It is a CMS platform used to create flexible web-based solutions. You get customized, self-editing websites that can be integrated with your other office systems.

Where exactly will my website be hosted?

Your website sits within the Wohola Platform which is hosted in Australia by our hosting supplier, TPP Wholesale Pty Ltd, who supply such services to over 20,000 businesses like SME Online Solutions®. TPP Wholesale's primary data centre is Global Switch, located in Sydney, Australia. With over 260,000 sq ft of property, Global Switch is the largest data centre in the Southern Hemisphere. It offers high quality, scalable solution with access to multiple carriers. The data centre's resilience is underpinned by a minimum N+1 standard for power and cooling systems, delivering an optimal operating environment to clients 24x7. The secondary data centre is in a separate offsite location in Alexandria.

Will you provide me with a full copy of the back up on request?

Your website is backed up on a regular basis, and the back ups are retained on a cyclical basis. The back up is a backup only of your website design and the content incorporated into the design. We will make this available to you on request at any time. The code to the Wohola Platform is our intellectual property, and this is not available in any backups taken or supplied. Through the Wohola CMS, you have access to the code that underpins your website, and this access allows you to further customise your site yourself, if you have sufficient HTML knowledge.

Do I have to provide content for my site?

Yes, you must provide the content for your website. We start our website design and construction process by determining the type of content, the nature of the content, and the volume of the content that the website needs to accommodate. This information also assists us to determine the navigation requirements and other complexities. We will provide you with guidance as to the basic content requirements.

Can you write my content for me?

If you need help to write specific pieces of content we do provide, on a fee for service basis, content writing services for our website customers only. This fee is currently $10.00 (GST Inc) per 100 words or part thereof. All content writing fees will be invoiced separately and payment must be made before the website is launched.

Can you help me to find the right images for my website?

We can at your request, select images, that we believe are appropriate for your website. We will download the suggested images from the source sites, and use them during the developmemt of your website. All images will be loaded into the development site with watermarks on the images showing the name of the originating image site. We will provide you with the name of the image site and the image identification number. You will then need to access the image site, pay for the relevant images, download them and send to us to include in the live version of your website. Until you do this, work on your website, will not be able to be completed.

Can you make a website that talk to our other business systems?

As your website is hosted on the Wohola Platform, we are able to easily connect your website to other systems in use in your office. If this is something you require, please let us know as early as possible in the development process, and we will provide you with a quote for the necessary work, that will need to be undertaken.

How long does it take to have my new website up and running?

This is not an easy question to answer as it depends on so many different variables. We know that the factor that causes the biggest delays in any website project, is getting the relevant content from the client, in a timely manner. This is why our process involves collecting the content prior to designing and building the site itself. Once we have the content in hand, we generally can have the initial site design prepared in 2 to 3 days for client feedback and amendments if any are required. Once the design is locked in and all content in hand, the process of coding the website can commence. This process will take from 5 to 10 days depending on the complexity of the site requirements. Once the coding is completed another 2 -5 days of testing and performing any required integrations is needed. Finally another 1-2 days is required for client sign off and launching the website. In short, your site may be completed in as little as 10 days from when all content is available and up to 24 days thereafter.

What does it cost to build a website on the Wohola Platform?

We provide a feature packed 10 page business website for a great price of just $1500.00 (GST Inc). This website is particularly suitable for professional or trade businesses providing B2B or B2C services. All E-commerce sites are built to the client's unique specifications and as such we cannot offer these for a fixed price. We provide FREE quotes for all E-commerce websites within 24 hours of receiving your full specifications.

Can you design a logo for my website?

If you are happy to have a simple but attractive business logo for a fee of $99.00 (GST Inc), our creative designers will prepare and offer you a choice of three designs, for you to select one for your website. You will be invoiced separately for this work, and the invoice must be paid, prior to the logo being included in the website.

Can you assist with registering a domain name?

If you have not already registered the domain name that you require for your website, and the name you require is available at the time we attempt to register it, we will register it for you at no charge. On completion of your website the domain name will be transferred to you. Please note that all future domain name renewals will be your responsibility and not ours.

Who owns my website code after the project is completed?

You always have direct access to the code of your website via the Wohola CMS that we provide with every website. As your website is a fully hosted solution, upon completion and delivery, we grant you a license to utilise the website and its related software and contents, for as long as you continue to pay your Wohola Platform Annual Maintenance and Upgrade Fee (currently $300.00 (GST Inc) per annum.

Do you outsource any of the website design or development work?

In order for us to provide Australian SME businesses with full featured, highly flexible, yet still affordable websites, we engage external contractors as we see fit, for elements of the design and construction of our websites. Our outsourced contractors are registered companies under contract to us, who employ experienced and qualified designers and developers on a full-time basis. We do not use freelancers for any element in the design and construction of our websites.

What steps are involved in the process of delivering my business website?

The steps involved in the design and construction of any website are many and varied. Our process begins as soon as you have met our payment requirements. We start by learning a lot more about you and your business, and the objectives that the website needs to support. We then start the important process of collecting from you all of the content that you want to have included in the finalised website. Once we have the content, we will prepare an initial design for your consideration and feedback. This will set off a process of amendment and further review until you approve the design we will take forward. The next step is for the developers to do all of the necessary coding to transform the design into a test website environment. Once the coding is complete, integration requirements will be addressed, and then testing will commence. When testing is complete, you will be provided access to the development version of your website for final checking and sign off, before the website is launched.
